Dayton, Ohio, USA, December 17, 2018–Invotec Engineering and Butterfield Engineering form a strategic agreement to provide customers robust software solutions for assembly and test equipment.

Invotec Engineering and Butterfield Engineering announced their plans for cooperation on December 17, 2018.

Invotec provides custom automation equipment to medical device manufacturers for assembly, test, and inspection. As customers continue to face tighter regulations, Invotec recognized the need to integrate stronger software capabilities into their equipment for better data collection and analysis.

Butterfield Engineering specializes in software solutions for manufacturing systems with a strong expertise in the National Instruments LabVIEW software platform—a technology widely used in medical device manufacturing. They identified an opportunity to provide their customers with complete systems in addition to their software solutions.

Our strategic cooperation is about mutual success for both of our businesses as well as for our customers,” says John Hanna, Invotec Engineering CEO. “Together, we will be able to provide customers complete solutions that include robust test equipment with software that can turn data into more meaningful information.”

Both companies agree that the goal of this new framework is to enhance the capabilities each company offers by leveraging the technical competencies of one another’s unique manufacturing solutions.

We already have projects underway, and we’re excited to see the value our working relationship will bring to our customers,” says Tim Butterfield, CEO of Butterfield Engineering.

With the announcement of this agreement, Invotec and Butterfield will continuously evaluate the success of the relationship in terms of serving their customers, and maintain cooperation as they build their respective businesses.
